I have removed the track, removed the 4 hydraulic lines, and removed the 10 bolts (all the way around) that hold it on the track frame. It won't move. Any tricks/ideas/tools to get this thing out? I've tried some impact, levers, and even a chain with a binder to try and "ratchet" it out... the...

Can anybody help explain how to get the damn drive motor out? I have all 10 bolts removed, and hydraulics disconnected. I CAN NOT BUDGE the stupid thing... have tried heat, penetrating oil, chain with binder... I can't get it to slide out.

I figured... Should that be an adequate solution? I'm trying to decide between getting the seal replaced, and a full re-build. The rebuilds are pretty pricey, but if it's like my motocross bikes, you don't open a motor case without replacing everything while you're in there... This DMC joint...

Thanks guys... Got the track off, and found the leak. Now I need advice on whether I should try to repair/replace the seal (there is no metal, and no slop in the drive). Machine has about 2300 hours on it. Private use (motocross track). Is there a way to post/share photos? Thanks!

Good call Dan, both covers have been off... I'm not sure my body weight or the spring tension are enough to get the idler all the way in.
