more info traced out the 2 wires going to the cold start either canister. I am getting 12 volts but the solenoid does nothing. I can't find a parts diagram with it shown. Any links or help would be appreciated thanks

Does anyone know what the voltage it takes for the cold start cylinder? There are 2 white wires going to it. Is that have its own fuse? I also heard that it had to be below a certain air temperature to work. Any thoughts?

I can't find the temp sending unit. I have been on Messicks website but no luck. Any one know where it's located? thanks

1840 case diesel. New fan radiator belt thermoset anti-freeze cool to the touch. sending unit?

Case 1840 new thermostat ,new anti-freeze, new radiator and shroud, new fan blade and belt. The temperature buzzer goes off in short cycles. When I check nothing feels warm. My thoughts are the sending unit. Do you have to remove the muffler to get to it? Is there a generic one available? Case...

there must be a generic one..case want $130 for it
