the new Case vs the new NH's

Hi guys...I'm wondering if any of the new holland owners have tried out any of the new model case machines vs the new model new hollands and their thoughts on them. I know they are basically made in the same plant now, just on different lines, so was curious as to the thoughts on them. I have a...

    case sr220 or sv250

has anyone tried these machines? how do you like them? I'm looking at them and from what I can tell so far, they seem like a pretty good machine. I haven't run one yet, so i don't know how it operates. How about the ride control function?

new holland vs case vs all others

thanks for the input...well, i haven't dropped any yet, which is probably why I only let myself move it in my machine rather than anyone else do it...

    445-3

Kwest, how do you like the 445-3? I had been looking at a 430, but not too familiar with the Case machines anymore.

new holland vs case vs all others

Tazza, thanks for the input. I was under the impression that the bouncing comes from wheel base size more so than how close you are to the tipping load. I've read in these forums and others where people have said some of the machines will lift quite a bit more than what the rating is listed on...

new holland vs case vs all others

So I bought a 2001 new holland LS180 in Jan of 2012 and the machine has been good for me, for what I do. i don't put a lot of hours a year on a machine...general uses for me are some dirt work and grading of stone driveway, etc, but mostly for snow removal and also for moving heavy crates of...

Ls180 issue with spewing hydraulic oil

Hi everyone...its been a while since I posted on here. Anyways, last night we were out doing snow removal and at first couldn't get it started (realized the battery terminals loosened up)..once we tightened them, it fired right up. So we were running all night and when we were done and parked...

    purchasing a used new holland

I fig'd on keeping it for a few years until a newer model with say around 250-3000 hrs was available so I could keep the price reasonable..or I should say a reasonable budget for me. And that is one of the things I did and will talk more to the dealership about as far as when the time comes...

    purchasing a used new holland

So from it sounds like from what everyone is saying, the ls180s are smooth operating, great lifting ability, and powerful, etc...overall good machines, but the drawback with them is the loud whining of how the gears, flywheel, etc are set up....So I guess it comes down to if I can handle the...

    purchasing a used new holland

Jerry, are you from the Harrisburg/Lancaster or surrounding area that you know about Messicks?? That is one of the places I have been talking with and they seem like very good people to deal with. My understanding is that with having that pump drive system and being gear driven from the...

    purchasing a used new holland

from what you were saying in your earlier post, that is what the salesman at the dealership was telling me, as far as the gears work, so I could see it being a little louder. I know the LX885 is the older model to the LS180, are they the same way as far as that noise also? How are the LX885s...

    purchasing a used new holland

Is that just a thing with the LS180s? Or is that normal with all the New Hollands, regardless of model? I'm guessing the whining has to do with the drive system, correct? Because I didn't notice it with the engine (as I played with the throttle) as much as i did while just driving it. Would it...
