any one have any ideas Had problems with starter on sl30 and had to jump the starter to get it running. then when i tried to start it everything went dead. Pulled starter and bench tested it and it works fine looked for shorts in harness and all looks good.

I now believe it is a short someplace. When I start it up the alarm sounds right away sometimes not always and it goes off after ive been running it for a while. Someday I'll have to trace out the wires and see were the problem is. But thanks to everyone for your help.

It takes about ten to20 minutes. the fluid looks good. I have a heat probe on my multi meter. Th rad lite came on and i checked temp. It was at 180 i then checked in front of rad it read 165. I then dropped it into the oil it read 180. I am assuming it is the sending unit . After it idled for a...

Thermostat opens at 180 on the stove.

Thats what it is doing. Kinda like a just flowing from left to right across the top of the radiator.

It looks like it is flowing. Should it be real fast or kind of slow?

anyone know were i can get a user guide or a shop manual for a SL30 hesston skid steer? Thanks to someone here i have the engine manual. I am having a problem with it overheating. The fan is turning and it appears to be circulating the water but the lite and alarm are going off. Any ideas.
