    Lift arm issue

Actually, now that you mention that, I have not put the 4 in 1 back on since I blew the hose. I have it repaired now so I may just hook it back up to see what happens. That is not the answer to the problem though, I would really like to fix the issue if I can.

    Lift arm issue

Any idea's where I should start? Do you guys feel that it is a solenoid? bad valve? I have the books, but they do not give this specific problem in the trouble shooting guide, and nothing listed on a faulty / defective aux. power system, and my copies are hard to even see where the aux. power...

    Lift arm issue

HI everyone, I searched the site and did not find an answer to my issue so here goes. I have a 763G and it has been running great until today when I blew a line on my 4 in 1 bucket and lost a lot of fluid. I disconnected the 4 in 1 and put the standard bucket on and when I did I could tell that...

    Fuel starvation issue

OK, Thanks for the replies, you guys pretty much verified what I was thinking, that it is some type of restriction in the pick up line or tube. If it is algae, is it possible to treat this with some type of additive? If so I would try that before pulling the tank. THANKS, Jim

    Fuel starvation issue

Hey folks, My 763G has an issue with fuel starvation. Not long ago I replaced the pick up tube and filter due to a cracked tube. This week it started acting up again, with what seemed like the same symptoms. The machine runs great, then sometimes an hour later, sometimes a half hour later, it...

    Tracking device ?

Do a google search on gps theft protection. I found one for $200 and no monthly monitoring fee, you just pay for a locate if you need it, If I remember correctly it was $10 for 5 locates. That should be enough to find a stolen machine. Jim

    763 G operators manual

CONTINUING; After thinking about my last reply, I have to ad that the manual you are looking for is not only an operating manual, it is also a maintenance manual. It shows how to maintain and trouble shoot your machine with the various code readouts, etc. I actually look at that book much more...

    763 G operators manual

I bought one off e-bay from a guy in Milwaukee. I agree that most of it is common sense, but I still gave it to my son and had him read it prior to operating the machine. For someone that is not around machines regularly it is invaluable, and could save serious injury. Also, it covers a lot of...

    Bobcat Owners Beware!

nightlighter, you are a better (or milder) man than me. If I were in your position I would be slamming bobcat, the dealer, and kabota all over the boards like this one until they started to loose business from it, or they just got tired of seeing it. At the very least you can post links to this...

Nightlighter, How are you making out with the dealer? Any luck? Jim

    Bobcat Owners Beware!

I was contemplating upgrading my 763 to a newer model, but after reading this post, I have decided that if that is they way they treat people with newer machines, I will change brands. I guess that is what happens when a company gets bought out, they tend to forget what made them the largest...

    car trailer

I am in the same position right now. I am hauling a 763 on a 7K trailer only on local slow speed deliveries. It is barley legal if at all, so I am looking for a replacement in the 10K range. Don't forget that most 7K trailers only have one axle with brakes, that alone makes it a safety issue. Jim

    ???Silt fence digger???

Hi Guys, I have a 763 bobcat and my son is a contractor so he uses it more than I do, He asked me if I could come up with a design that would dig a trench for a silt fence. My first thought would be to adapt the single plow "middle Buster" that I used with my old Ford N tractor. But I think that...

    Grapple

Quince, Do you happen to have a set of plans and a material list available for your grapple? I would love to make one, but I don't have the engineering skills to come up with something that nice! Thanks, Jim Wisconsin

    Aux hydraulics on 1835c

HI, I am looking to purchase a used skid, and I recently looked at 2- 1835C's that were pretty close to me. One issue with them both it is that there are no auxiliary hydraulic connections. Is this something that can be added after I purchase it? Has anyone done this addition? HOw much work is...
