Okay, I called Advanced Auto and gave them the Bosch number from the distributor. They crossed referenced that distributor to a 1970, 1.6L Mercury Capri, I ordered the parts for under $20. I'll install everything hopefully this weekend and just in case anyone else is interested to see it it...

Check the linkage from the t control to the swash plate on the piston pump, the rod ends may be worn causing it to jerk.
