632 bobcat will not start, Carburetor not letting the gas in.

ZekeSkyree, you wouldn't happen to have a part number for the Exhaust Manifold Gasket, would you? Looks like I need one of them too. Or if anyone else happens to have it. this is the 1.6 Ford Industrial gas motor.

Yes I agree for long term it will be best to replace it. Of course, I'm sure most folks that have a Bobcat (or any kind of skidsteer) will agree that you need it now and can't wait to find suitable aftermarket parts that actually fit. So for short term I went ahead and cut the rod off and will...

632 bobcat will not start, Carburetor not letting the gas in.

I called my local Bobcat dealer and he said there wasn't any to be found so I cut the rod and put everything back together and it runs great. I would have never seen it in the back tords the block. Thank you very much for your help.

Ok, this does have the solenoid. What a bad place to put it. I have current to the solenoid but it is dead. Does anyone see any issues with cutting the rod? I dought that anyone will have this.

I would normally agree, but in this case, the machine was running for a few hours before this happened. so the motor and surroundings were warm, way above freezing. Plus , I keep plenty of heat in the gas just to make sure. I do appreciate the response though.

632 bobcat will not start, Carburetor not letting the gas in.

Hello, my Bobcat friends. I have a 632 Bobcat with the 1.6 Ford gas motor. I was plowing snow and it was running great, all of a sudden it stopped as if it ran out of gas. I checked the fuel and spark. I have a full tank of gas and plenty of spark. If I spray gas into the carb, it will take off...

632 Bobcat with Ford Industrial 1.6 motor model 2274E

Yes, mine is an inline 4. I have heard that early Pinto and Festa used this model, however when checking on parts, none of those fit mine. I went thru and checked the basics. Valve gaps, point gaps, exc.. Found that the timing was way too far advanced. At first check the , the timing was...

632 Bobcat with Ford Industrial 1.6 motor model 2274E

Does anyone have a picture of the engine breakdown for the Ford Industrial model 2274E / KSG416. I'm starting to think that I have a timing issue. Does this have gear to gear timing or a chain? When my issues started, I could hear a tinny noise and thinking it could be the chain hitting the...

632 Bobcat with Ford Industrial 1.6 motor model 2274E

Where did you purchase the Electronic Distributo? Do you have a web site and part number. Even if it ends up not being that, I would still like to get away from points and condensor.

632 Bobcat with Ford Industrial 1.6 motor model 2274E

Having issues with my 632 Bobcat. Starts right up but when it warms up, it flutters and misses. I have tuned the engine up with new Points, condenser, cap and rotor, plugs and fuel filter but still doesn't run smoot like it use to. I set the points at .025 but not sure if that is correct...
