I have repacked the cylinder and the drifting is fine now but i still don’t understand why it would be pumping fluid through the extending hose side??

Yea it was drifting

With both hoses disconnected and you start the machine. One of the hoses is actually pumping fluid without actuating the spool valve? Spools have been taken out, inspected for damage and resealed. Any ideas?

where is the oil pressure sending unit? can it be gotten to and changed while engine is in? I have checked service manuals online with no results. if anyone has dealt with these engines and has some advice it would be greatly appreciated. thanx.

where on the hl2600 is the pressure sending unit? my gauge has no reading and would like to test the sensor. Onan Performer P224 other then engine oil pressure, would their be a reason to run a hydro fluid pressure sensor?

parts list shows it as a fuel pump. it has a filter in it. I don't know how the pump works with just the one wore run to it but that's what the manual even shows. there is a fuel pump on the engine shroud too. its been repowered by a dealership with the same engine as before just newer. so im...

after a good workout I pull back into the garage and shut her down. from either the fuel tank or hydraulic tank something is bubbling. only last about a minute or so after shut down. has a oil cooler. doesn't sound like boil so much as air bubbling but I could be wrong. ???? thanx

when bringing the handle back to neutral it will shudder/studder/shimey/shake. whatever you want to call it. push the handle forward and back a little and it will stop. its almost like fluid is pushing by and pulsating the pumps. the pin and hole connections to the pump are a little worn. maybe...

it is a fuel filter. not sure why their is a sensor on it. the bottom unscrews off and out drops a filter. with the cap comes a magnet in the center that when the cap is screwed back on the bottom comes in contact with a plastic ball. which pushes it up and allows fuel to flow down past the...
