Jerry the drains have 1/4 " pipe threaded plugs in them and there is a inverted fenderwell type of resevoir under both chains. there has been oil in them but one side had only water in it because the top plate was bent & not sealing. You may be right I think the other side has some type of oil...

Need to know if anybody knows what type and amount of fluid goes in the resivoir for the chain drives. on a 4615 Gehl skid steer. They are full of water now and I think it would probably be 90 weight or Hydrolic fluid 303 or equiv.
