I'm looking at buying it from him and want to spend as little as I have to, to be able to get it going. I think it would be worth fixing, it has about 2500 hours or so on it. Like they said, the only way is to tear it down..

The manual for the unit says 333 so that's what i went by but I don't know anything about the engine. I'm guessing he will just have to remove it and see what the damage is. I thought of getting it sleeved if thats what it needed. Thanks for your reply!

I'm helping my neighbor with his L785. It has the BSD 333, 3 cylinder Ford diesel. The block is cracked and hes trying to find a motor for it. I have checked with Wengers (who has a block) and Schafer (and others) but I can't find a complete engine. Anyone have some help? Thx!
