Parts are always more $$$ north of the border it seems. My old solenoid had the adapter wire on it. The new one did not need it, and I did do away with the ground terminal.

So ended up spending the $350+ and changed the solenoid. It was a new design as well. Seems to be working now. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have been having a problem with my power bobtach recently. It seems no matter if I press the switch to open or close, either direction will only close the levers. If i switch the hydraulic lines on the cylinder then they will only open. Any ideas why I only have one direction working no matter...

Update: I took the hydraulic hoses off the front bobtach cylinder and manually closed it (open bob-tach). I then put the hose back on and tried to close it by pusing the button. The only way I got it to work was to tilt the bucket all the way up and hold the pedal at the fully up position. Then...
