Well I added a shim to the backside of the top mount on the machine and low and behold the bucket didn't fall off.Looks like my mount on the machine is worn a little giving it a little slop.Next step is to try it on the other two attachments.Im keeping my fingers crossed.
Ok here is the latest in this saga.Called the equipment dealer and he gave me some sound advice to try.I described what was going on and he said it sounded like the top part of the qa on the loader could be worn and not allowing the springs to tension up and hold the pins against the bucket.He...
Not sure what the baling wire would do?the handles don't pop up when the bucket pops off.Any reasons why mine are loose going down? Thanks for all the advice guys,I appriciate it all
Used a strait edge to check but found nothing out of line. Now I did however notice that my lift arm bushings are shot.I have a good amount of slop in the mount.Would this cause the bucket to pop off during back drag?
Trying a different approach with this.Anyone have any other bucket but a gehl on their machine?Having trouble finding one that has the correct angle on the bottom part to match my all-tach gehl setup. Also is the all-tach setup different than the gehl quick attach? Thanks for all the input.This...
That's the thing that confuses me.The handles don't pop up they stay down with the pins. When I tried my friends bucket the left side was so hard to push down I hade to use my foot to get it down. But the bucket stayed on.When I tried this one the handles seemed to just fall down in the...
Well picked up a new bucket and sure enough the damn thing popped off.Im at my wits end with this thing!!!When I tried my friends the one latch was hard to push down and with this new one they fell down easy.I don't know maybe I'm just not suppose to own one I guess
Looking for a bucket for my 4835.My machine has wheel spacers on it so it gives me 68" from outside the wheels. My question is would a 72" bucket be too much?Meaning will it over work the machine with having a larger capacity and digging force area.It is 57hp,1600lb lift.i just don't wanna over...
Tried a friends bucket on for size today and low and behold it stayed on.Looks like my mount was the problem. Thanks guys for all the help. You guys are great!!!
Your set up sounds similar to mine.Im gonna try to borrow a friends bucket and see if it stays on.That way I can just order a new plate and weld it on.Thanks for your help.Much appriciated.
Less than that on both attachments.I can understand on the bucket being homemade plate but the back hoe is a factory mount. The pins aren't broken or chipped.Should there be some tension when I push the levers down to lock in?Just to mention thank you for all your insight and help.
I thought that was the problem because the previous owner make a ohm made quick attach plate and the bottom doesn't meet nice.there is a gap about 1/2 inch.but the back hoe isn't worn at all.Do the pins wear fast or is there an adjustment setting for the springs?
Hello all.New to the forum.I am having trouble with my bucket and back hoe attachment staying hooked. If I back drag with the bucket or apply a good bit of force using the back oh the pins become unhooked and they come off.Any thoughts? Thanks.
