I have a skid steer with a 104 perkins engine. It runs fine, but after using it for half hour it gets hot. Have flushed out system, and only using water at this time. Have cleaned radiator fins as well as oil cooler. Haven't had it long, so sure it was this way. I have run out of ideas.

I have a MF516 that has Scat Loader sign on the side. Is it the same thing as a Scat Track? Fermec made the MF516 for MF. Who made the Scat Track? The reason I'm asking I can't find a manual on the MF516.

Does anyone out there besides me have a MF 516, or any MF skid steer? Can't find a manual for it, but think it was made in England. Has a plate inside (made by Fermec)

That seems like a lite oil for a diesel. Of course I have older diesels which require heaver oil.

Do I need 12" tires, or will they be to big?

What kind of hydraulic oil should be used? I bought a used MF 516, and he added 3 gal. of automatic trans. fluid. He said that is what they said to use. (who ever they are). I added another 3 gal., but is this what should be used. Would appreciate any help on this.

Also the person bought from put in 3 gal. of automatic transmission fluid in the hydro. tank. He said that's what they told him to use. The hydrolics work fine, but wondering if this is what's supposed to be used.

I have a MF516 skid steer made in England by Fermec. Can't seem to find a manual. Main problem is I bought 10" metal tracks that were for a Bobcat. It has 10" tires, but have about an inch of side play on track. The tread measures 9 3/4 inches across. Do I need to get new tires or what?
