It sounds to me as though it is an air flow problem. The radiator may be partially plugged by dirt or debris. Or is the out side of the radiator fins coated with oil ? You should routinely clean out radiator fins and straighten out bent fins.

Sounds like a excessively lean mixture, look for a vacuum leak

I’m thinking maybe one or both quick connect valves could be malfunctioning , not allowing oil to pass when plugged in.

I had Problems connecting my attachment until I figured out to make sure the grapple or whatever has the pressure completely relived as in the jaws closed but no pressure holding it closed. This keeps the pressure off the attachment side. Once I learned this, I also turn on the key, lap bar...
