If I had the time lifting the cab would sure be a smart thing to do, haying season and all machines just have to be on the job. Thx again mrbb I follow yer advive and enjoy reading your post:)
Thanks for the info mrbb, rainning up here rite now, been hot past week. I had to lift the NH onto a trailer with loader to get it out of hayfield. gonna look at tilting cab today thx
Lost all my fluid while loading hay, took belly pan off and found 1-1.2" hose loose from both in and out! Has anyone else found out how to get these back on to the tank without removeing the motor? nowhere to loosen the plastic tank mounts are visible.
welcome here, lotsa bobcat owners on the board. I['m also in Fairbanks running a NH Lx885 fo 10 years. My fiberglass tank spung a leak few yrs ago, what a nightmare getting it out thru the bottom. Skidsteers are not easy to work on for sure
You can also insert a small 12v electric pump in line placing the external tank (2ga or 3ga) on the engine cowling, I've used regular rubber gasoline hose with clamps. $20 electric pump can push 6psi into injector pump
the tilt cylindars are a lot smaller then those on my backhoe (ford 755) I cracked those nuts off when it was 15 below zero here. NH musta used thread lock and lots of it
Having a fit removing the jamb nut on the tilt cylinder. Anyone here have a trick to loosen these nuts? 24" pipewrench didn't get it. Is it ok to heat them first? Don't wanna ruin the rod. help
