My answer is. B4 U take it to a dealer. Get under the machine and "spot the leak". To "repair a swivel joint" is huge. Check the house swing motor carrier. It could be leaking. Still. Not Easey to change out

Without, a seriel #. I'm going to assume it's a gresen V20 valve. IF you're "wide open " to the back of the valve, and want to keep this machine for awhile. Reseal/work the valve. Good valve, in it's time. Nastey to work on with no access. There R rebuild kits for the lift/ float section.Price out #6659344.

Re: Need help please! 963 leaking hyd. oil in chain case 7/30/2013 6:00:47 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Hey Tazz, and BC. There is no "carrier seals" in a 963 it has a gear box drive. It does have spring applied, hyd released brakes. BUT. The brakes r inside the chaincase. The 963 uses a piston style motor, not a gerolor. U measured the lose of hyd oil. Try having the machine running, with the parkbrake on versus the park brake off, without moving the machine. It could be just a hose inside the chaincase is leaking.

Try removing, and cleaning all the ground connections to the battery. Including the small connectors on the battery post, and the frame connections. Anything with a black wire. some of the small wires are controller grounds.
