| My '06 T250 does about the same thing except if you fill it full, the gauge will go to empty. I will run it for a few hours and the gauge will then work it's way to full and be accurate ( I think ) until you fill to the top again. If I keep adding some fuel without filling it completely, the gauge works fine....

| I picked up a used T250 last winter and the previous owner just idled around with it, never worked it hard. I too had some black smoke and also a little white smoke all the time. I changed out the filters to no avail, still smoked. I pulled the fuel filter, drained it and filled it with sea foam. When it fired up it smoked pretty good for a few minutes and then cleared up. Now it only puffs a little smoke on start up and when increasing the throttle quickly. The sea foam cleaned any carbon in ... |

331d swing motor leaking

| I guess when it rains it pours...... 2 weeks ago I had to remove the radiator and have it flushed out because it was running hot on me. Now last week I noticed hydraulic oil leaking out below the turn table between the tracks. I brought it home this weekend and tore it apart looking for a reason why. It turned out the swing motor is leaking oil right above the gear ( the best I can tell ).....
What is a normal fix fort this?
Is it possible to replace the seal, or does the whole swing motor ... |

| I have a 2004 331 ( D series ) with 2500 hrs on it.
It keep running warm on me, because I know the job I'm on it's getting leaves and alot of dirt between the radiators and in the radiator core.
I usually take my garden hose and rinse it out a few times a year and that has worked good, until now.
I've tried and tried again to reverse flush the radiator but it's not working. Dirt and junk has gotten packed into the fins.
How is the best way to remove the engine radiator on these things? Or ... |

| I ended up pulling the radiator out of it and laying it horizontal and washing the fins with simple green and a garden hose. Washing it out while it was in the machine worked somewhat but it needed a real good flushing, it's amazing how much junk can get trapped in the fins. Everything is fine with it now...

Thinking about buying a t-250

| Hi All,
I've been shopping for a good used t-190 this summer to compliment my 773 and 331. I haven't had too good a luck finding one in good shape at a decent price, but, I did come across a 2005 t-250 with 2200 hrs on it.
My question to you all is.... you people that own one, is there anything "extra" I should be looking out for on one? I've rented and ran enough t-190's to get very familiar with the track machines but the t-250 is a new animal to me.
I know it does need tracks( which is ... |
