I have a 2010 S650 that has been in storage for a extended period. I removed the battery and kept it charged. When I installed it, my screen only displays the Bobcat logo and won't accept any key entries for the unlock code (deluxe display). No other menus can be accessed. On the left panel it is displaying "code". I contacted my dealer but he has never encountered that problem. Anyone seen it before? Thanks

You have probably found the solution by now. Sometimes batteries fail on chargers so verify the Bobcat is getting full voltage. Should be 12.3 volts when the display in on. Let us know what you found. Jeff 03 S-160

Thanks for the reply. No solution has been found yet. My regular job has been busy and I put the Bobcat on hold for now. I did load test the battery and it is fine. I jumped the starter and there is lot of power. I am thinking the problem is the computer. The screen is ok but only displays the Bobcat logo, no text asking for the password or the bottom menu. I am trying to check the fuse, but my machine has the fuse box under the cab, and the machine is in a sea can, so I can only tilt it slightly. Not even sure where it is located. Does it sound reasonable that the computer is just not booting up? Not sure why the logo would display and nothing else. I've tried all the easy fixes, now I'm hoping an expert will have an answer. Thanks

If anyone runs into this problem, a solution has been found. The right hand panel failed. It would power up but wouldn't communicate with the left panel. I tried the keypad from another machine and it fires right up. Easy fix, just costly.

If your machine is normally at a secure site you could always downgrade to key.
