I would like to purchase a set of over the tire tracks for Bcat S250. What are the best set for the money?

I like the grouser bar style. I've had the Loegering pad style and they worked well too. Main thing is when you run them leave a little more slack than is recommended. I ran mine just tight enough that the tires wouldn't slip. You wear the links on the track more that way but it's better than wearing the axle bearings, drive chains and sprockets in my opinion. There are some cheap pad style tracks out there that break the pads pretty easily if you run over rocks. If you're looking at used, make sure you look at the grab bars on the bottom of the track that meet the tire and check the links and pins for excessive wear. I have a customer with a set of Prowler tracks (ebay) and he really likes them. They seem okay but look like they would be more brittle and easier to break than the grouser and I think the pins are a little lighter than Grouser and Loegering.

I have a set of TracksPlus on my 642b and love them. Traction and flotation are excellent. Wear has been good. I did find that wet packy snow will get inside, and if you stop moving, it will freeze and you have to chip it out so it doesn't bind. Powder snow, sand or mud , it goes places I would have gotten stuck with tires. Ed

I had a set of grouser older style with the narrower bar, sold them because on harder ground they will jiggle the fillings out of your teeth. They are tremendous traction but they are heavy, easy enough to install in 20-30 minutes. If you get used grouser go to their website for a video on how to install. I think I will get another set of tracks this spring but will probably be tracks plus if I get new ones. Bobcat here sells the grouser parts so that was a good thing also.
