My 05 t190 has a large hard line that comes from the main lift cylinders to the main control valve where it connects to a large "t". The t's tube is running horizontal and connects into the center of the main valve body. The male fitting that it connects to is vertical and the nut size is 1 inch. My problem is that the o ring that is mounted on the male end at that point keeps blowing out. I tried to get one from Bobcat, but the parts guy was unable to find it and when I told him to just give me several sizes and I'd figure it out, he said they were't normally stocked. So my best guess at what's going on is that I'm either using the wrong size or the wrong hardness or both. The best fit I've found using my kit is a 10 mm x 1.5mm N70. Should I be using an N90 instead? Is my size correct? Thanks in advance. Jim

Personally i'd take the fitting and seal to a hydraulic shop. If the Oring keeps failing, something is wrong with the fitting or the Oring is not right. The shop should be able to give you the right one.
You can get harder Orings too, so it may fix the issue.

Thanks Taza. I tried ordering the ring from Bobcat, giving them the part number for the T that has it, but they sent the wrong ones which were for where it enters the valve body!Grrrrr!! So, after looking online and searching a hydraulic shop, I found that the size o ring I need in a 90 euro meter is as rare as hens teeth. I then ordered the T that the o ring sits on, thinking that it might come with it. It was 50 buck, and I spent more than that in fuel looking for one. I got my fingers crossed.

So, I got the T and it was a different style of fitting. There was no o ring and the angle of the mating surface was a little different. I decided to go for it since the job isn't that bad if I had to redo. I got it together and no leaks. What I did find out when I removed the old T was that I had damaged the threads and this probably caused a slight misalignment which in turn, caused the o ring to blow. What still don't get is why Bobcat replaces a part with a totally different style and doesn't let their parts people know. When I'm done with this machine, I'm heading for Kubota!

The parts guys just have a screen with pictures, that is all they need 99% of the time i guess...
It is very rare that i have called up and they have checked if there are any updates....
