873 electical problems

It sits and drains battery. Replaced alternator. Put multi-meter on 100amp fuse and door latch and it ohms <1. Problem is in wiring harness, I think. I have been disconnecting wire harness connections and trying to isolate issue, but cant find it. 25amp fuse to "computer" eliminates short. When I tried it this morning with new alternator, alternator was warm on pully. Please help me!!!!

Pull the wire off the alt then touch it back if it sparks might be a bad alt

Or a rubbed or chewed wire shorting out
