40xt lift arm won't move--electrical?

First post here. I just finished the annual maintenance on my Case 40XT. The raised arm will not move unless I pull out the bypass plunger, then it moves fine--until I need to move it again. The left drive-lift control will not move--until the plunger is pulled. Any ideas? This happened once before, but it seems to have fixed itself--until now.

Hmmmmmm. No one replied to my first post. Are you out there? Well, I'll just respond to my own post. A couple of weeks passed, and today I figured I'd better run the engine some to keep the battery charged and the juices running. Lo and behold! The thing seems to have healed all by itself. Everything works the way it used to. Christmas miracle, I suppose.

Good to hear might be a good time to change fluid and filters

That's what got me in trouble: I changed all fluids and filters. Had to take off bucket and lift arms all the way up. Then they wouldn't go down without pulling the bypass plunger thing. But now, all is fine. Curious though.

You had the bucket off when it did it's trick?

Both with and without.
