NH LX665 tires sizes

A farmer has a 1999 LX665 with 7 x 15" tires that he wants to replace. He told me he wants a wider tire. Could he use a 10.5 x 16.5 tire with new rims or will he have to stay at 8.5" x 15. I told him I didn't know so maybe someone here can help out. Thanks Ron

Mine has 10x16.5 and I believe it was a option from the factory. There is a difference in tires also, mine had solid deal tires on it but worn when I got it and they threw in a set of new Chinese tires same size but actually about 3/4 inch narrower on the tread. You may be able to get 12 inch ones one there also.
