2010 s205 temperature gauge

I just purchased an 2010 s205 and I run it for quite awhile and the temp gauge just barely went over the first mark on the gauge. I was wondering if this is normal or my thermostat may be stuck open a little. The heat was warm but not as warm as my old s185 would get. I figure the gauge should run about the center but not sure.

The gauge doesn't normally go much over a 1/4 of the range. One thing I would look at is the cooling fan. At start up it should run rather slow. As you run the unit, it will kick to higher speed. Possible it is stuck in high.

I run another one today and it was just like mine. Thanks for the info
