7753 opinions?

Looking at a '94 7753 for a buddy. He's a farmer and is looking for a 2nd skid steer thats cheap. I'm thinking we can get it for $5000. Has heat and cab, 4000+ hours. It seems to run and function well. The fan is kinda noisy...do these share the same gearbox as the 753? I understand these are somewhat of an orphan machine but haven't heard anything terrible about them. 743's are still bringing $6000 here. Whats the general opinion of the 7753?

thats the original version of the 773 and s185. great size machine because same size as 763 but has the vertical lift. for 5 grand i dont see how you can go wrong.
