Chain Case Filters & Door Modification

I have a 1999 763F. I want to change the Chain Case filters, but can only find one filter. It is the one shown in the upper left in the photo. Should my machine have another filter? The machine has rear auxiliary hydraulics plumbing so I don't know if that factors into the filter count. On another subject, I got tired of moving snow in an open cab. I installed a heater from another Bobcat. As well as a door. Not a heavy door from an "F" Series, but a full-glass door from a "G" Series machine (unknown exactly what model it came off of). Using the G series hinges and G Series latch, it installed like it was made for my older machine. I cut off the exterior handles for the rough install, but will reinstall at least one as the project continues. The curved top of the G door presented a large gap on the F cage, but after looking at it I determined that I could fill the gap and still have the door's factory weatherstripping work well. I made a mock-up out of cardboard and the talented heating & air conditioning guy in the neighborhood made a filler assembly out of galvanized sheet metal. After it is painted it will look like it came from Bobcat that way. It clears the bucket ram when the bucket is all the way down. This is an ongoing project so a few other details (filling the gap at the bottom of the door.) are being worked on, but the results up to this point are worth the effort. The door only cost me $75 since it has a few scratches on the glass that the former owner did not like and the wiper was an EBay find so the overall cost is very low. When I'm all done I'll post more photos.

There is no filter for the chaincase. The machine has one hydraulic filter located in back right hand corner of the engine compartment. There are two drive motor case drain filters located near each motor.

Wow, that door looks pretty dang good on there! I think I might try and find one of those at a decent cost. What all models did that door fit so I kinda know what to search for. Thanks!

I don't know all of the models that the door fit. All I know is that it was a "G" Series door. Perhaps someone on the site can provide that information. Once I got the door all that mattered was to make it work.

I got ya! Well, I guess I'll just keep my eyes and ears open for a G-Series door. I hope I can find one at a decent price! Thanks, Kyle
