T200 aux problem

Having a problem with the aux hydros. Like its locking up. Press the toggle and they work fine to open the grapple/4n1, press the other way to close and it will lock up like the trigger is pulled. Can hear a slight wine for a couple seconds then can hear them release and they work fine. While locked up the lift/tilt won't function. What could be sticking? It seems to be getting worse, staying engaged longer before it releases. Shut her down till I can figure this out. Going to look in the book, this site is more helpfull. Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like it might be your aux spool sticking or soliniod if it has one clean them up and see

Thanks ant farmer. That is what the book says. Seems fairly strait forward according to the book. One spool valve two solenoid valves. I suppose one solenoid is for open the second for close (forward flow reverse flow). I think I found them, with the cab up the left side looking in. What are the O rings standard metric? My local bobcat guy is in Vegas for the week so... Lucky bum. Any idea if using the machine without using the aux hydros will hurt anything? I'll need to get this fixed got a huge pile of brush to burn and the grapple is the only way to feed a fire. Thanks.

I would think it would be fine to use...,...I would not replace anything unless it is leaking just clean the crud off them and a bit of oil

Swap the stems and see if the problem switches. If it does, replace the stem, cleaning never works. If the problem stays the same, I would look to the handle being the problem.

Thanks Dan, that's a good idea and simple too. By stems do you mean couplers? Seems like like its in the solenoids under the seat tho. Can feel the whine under the seat then a few seconds and can feel/hear the click and the pressure releases. First thought was solenoid, the delay in it functioning. I am going to switch the couplers to see if the problem switches to the open function.

The stem is the name for the vavles that control the spool. Remove the top nut and the coil should slide off. Sometimes they stick on pretty good. With the coil off, use deep well socket to remove the stem

Dan - I actually fixed a set of stems on my S150. It must have been sitting long enough at the auction yard to get sticky. Pulled them apart, freed them up and re-installed. Good as god since. They must be good as they are proportional control too.
If they are damaged from a bend, i agree ditch them. I tried to repair one like this, didn't go so well.

You must just be better then me. Cleaning them has either didn't work or came back to bite me. I simple don't mess with them anymore, they are getting replaced.

For you it's best to just replace. The customer is paying, so swap it out and you know it's right.
I actually had a brand new one not work. The grease they used to make it went hard and the spool inside didn't move. I had to clean a brand new stem.....

Normally, it is a tiny bit of metal that jams them. It is actually pretty common on new machines to have one stick in the first 20 hours. A300 were the worst. Almost every new one I had to replace the entire steer vavle block because one stem after another would stick.

Wow, it shows that during manufacturing the parts are not all 100% clean. The newer machines seem to be far more critical of being clean clean.

ithink prior to doing any thing i would examine the aux return case drain filter. simple easy check.
