I am a NH skidsteer guy that is always down on that board. I really need a track machine for a few projects on the farm this winter. The T190 is a good size machine for me and appears to have a good reputation so I am leaning toward purchasing my first bobcat. Educate me on these machines! What options were there, what options do you recommend? I heard the newer machines had more track rollers than the old ones??? I am looking for something around 16K.

from a tech point of view first and foremost is maintanice records, on youre prior to purchase local dealer should have them. have codes downloaded.(if its got thirhty resarts with dirty air filter expect to buy an eng) that being said SOLID good used equipment is scarce right now. the overseas market snached a lot up durining the econimac down turn, whats left needs a proffersional look over prior to purchase, paint don't make a unit run, so my recondemndation is to buy from a bobcat dealear ( not arts not sunbelt. not any rental companys. the dealers have a vested intrest in keeping the equipment squared away. THIS IS HOW IT WORKS WE BUY RENT IT PAY IT DOWN DOWN SELL IT. ITS NOT IN OUR INTREST, TO SKIP ANY STEPS . IF ITS BROKE WE FIX IT. IF ITS DUE FOR MAINTANCE WE DO DO IT, that way at the of the run we have a good piece of of equipment, that we can sell with cofindance. and give some warrenty. to the next end user.

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD TO THIS. ive seen a boat load of I the I gotta realy good deal. keep in mind drive motors 3.500 each tracks 2500 a pair sprockets 500 each eng ten grand easy. we aint gypysys, but a two hundred look over, with a list of this you can do yourself. this needs attention now. sure beats 16 teen grand getting compounded into 23, and now I gotta do it, or im upside down, the cant sell it till I fix it thing.
