Just wondering if anyone can help me out. When I flip the switch for the heater it blows the main fuse on the machine. Sometimes it will run for a couple seconds and blow and others it blows instantly. I have the parts manual and have gone through the whole thing looking at the digrams and index. It shows nothing about a heater in any part of the manual except a block heater. Looking for a diagram of where its located so i can try to disgnose it better or maybe someone can just tell me if they know where it is. Machine is a 1978. Thanks

Is it a electric heater or does it use engine coolant?
I'm not sure to tell you the truth. I was hoping to find a diagram to figure out where exactly the heater is located so I can diagnose better. I haven't been able to dig into it much but I think I might have to remove the seat and panel underneath to get access to front of engine, where I'm guessing it is. But was hopin someone knew just in case I didn't have to do all that. haha

I also couldn't find any reference to a 632 having a cab heater. So someone likely either adapted one from a different model or its a aftermarket heater unit. If you can post some pictures of where the heated air blows from and the controls then maybe someone can ID it.

The air comes out of between your legs between the 2 joy sticks...it has a panel there that I removed that has the heater duct attached to it. the duct takes a sharp turn and can't really see too much thats why I was thinkin about removing seat and bottom panel. Thanks

Taking out the seat pan and following the duct is about all you can do. When you find the blower I'd bet that you find some critter has built a nest there and has the fan locked up or has chewed on the wires.

I becha OM got it right
So I pulled the seat and seat panel out and followed the duct and found the heater. It is a aftermarket kit. I followed the power wire and noticed it was run through all the grunge, dirt, and oil on the bottom of the machine with 3 butt connectors through out it. So figured it was probably shorting out at one of the connectors. I ran a new wire from switch directly to heater and worked perfect. Just wanted to say thanks for the help.
