Are there any places for parts that aren't as expensive as a Case dealer? I'm looking for simple tune up parts for a 1737 uniloader with a four cylinder gas engine. Did Case make their own engines or did someone else make them? My local dealer wants $45 for points and condenser and $15 for a rotor. Surely I can find them cheaper than that. Thanks for any help

I don't believe they are their own engines.
You just need to work out who made the engine to get parts at a reasonable price....

Hello Sir: I have a 1830 skid steer. My machine has the (4) Cyl. gas Renault engine in it. It's a pain and is/ was very expensive to buy parts for. I found all my Ignition parts at NAPA. I found a carb. rebuilt kit for it at a local tractor parts store. A new carb. from Case was around $ 600.00 dollars. This carb. must have gold or platinum in it... just nuts for a (1) barrel carb. . ------------- I just bought a Case 1838 and found a lot of parts on EBay, about 50% less than Case Price's. -------- Good Luck, Avery
