How can I safely push my 1845 into my barn, can I turn both of the pressure relief valves on the tandem pumps 90 degrees like any other hydrostat pump on lawn tractors and such? And then push it without any damage to pumps? I have the engine out right now and weather is not looking good before I can get it back in. thanks for your help

My owners manual (1840) says not to push/tow more than 50' with the bypasses turned not more than 2 turns. That seems really restrictive, but I'm not a hydraulic engineer either.

ours became disabled so I just pulled the 2 bolts on each drive motor and pulled the drive motors out of the housings and it rolled free, just took a few minutes to unbolt them

Unbolting the drive motors is the ideal way.
