Nicely done. Nothing like the satisfaction of building something yourself. IMHO, fabrication therapy beats retail therapy any day!!

That is some fine work!
Good to see lots of weld on there, should last quite well.

Nice work! if you have never used a 8' bucket, you will love it! I built one for my old 600 and love it. The best part is you don't need chains to keep from spinning, just lift the bucket a fraction on a inch above the ground and carry the weight with the front tires. That really helps traction, way better than with a plow. Here's a couple pics of mine. I cheated to build mine. I had access to two old 54" buckets needing repair and used them. I cut 21" off the outsides of one bucket and welded them to the other bucket with a new (used off county plow truck) cutting edge. I wouldn't trade it for the world. The under powered 600 hydraulics doesn't have any trouble with the weight of the bucket wand snow 99 percent on the time. Like I said also, traction is good since you can carry the weight, not just push it. I live in northern WI., so you know we get plenty snow here, not just a occasional dusting! lol Pics in photo bucket. http://s1159.photobucket.com/?postlogin=true
