Where can I find part numbers for my 722 skid steer? I'm looking for a head gasket for the Ford 1.6 engine at the moment. Is there a resource for these parts? Maybe a sticky somewhere?

Click the upper left link that says "Go to Parts Catalog". Once it comes up, look up your machine. Best to have your serial number handy, but it looks like there were no s/n breaks on the 722.
I think the head gasket is p/n 6512401, but double check it.
BTW - the Ford engine in your machine was used in early Ford Pinto 1.6L cars, so you may want to check the automotive aftermarket before buying one from Bobcat ($$$).

The wiki shows the engine was used in 71, 72, and 73 Ford Pintos. That is going to be a big help. Thanks!

I have heard conflicting things regarding the ford 1.6. That was a common industrial engine used in a lot of stuff. Some people have told me not everything is the same as a pinto engine. I can't say for sure if it is true, but I'd keep in the back of your mind.

Went to the dealer. Exhaust valve no longer available. Got one from Autozone for a 71 Pinto with 1.6 OHV engine. Didn't fit. So now I'm searching for an exhaust valve. The dude at the Bobcat dealer wasn't too passionate about helping me. Acted like he didn't want to look up parts for a 722 skid steer. Pretty much spent the whole time telling me I had a relic. So I told him I had an M700 too. Anyone know were to get an exhaust valve? I couldn't find one on ebay.

Sorry the bobcat guy couldn't be more helpful. I hate everything before 753s, but always do my best to be polite and helpful to customers, that was my job. The 1.6 industrial was common as dirt. If faced with this at my parts counter, I'd contact my engine rebuilder I deal with. That is what I recomend, find a local engine rebuilder. They normally have their own source for parts.
