Hey Guys. New member here. I have a Bobcat 632 with a Clarke Ford engine. After owning it for half a season, I couldn't get it to start anymore. After some troubleshooting, I found both wiring harnesses had melted and were shorting everything out. I purchased a new engine harness and a new front harness assembly and started plugging away. The manual I have is horribly scanned, so I am doing a lot of toning and guessing to get everything connected correctly. I managed to get it to fire up and work, but my fuses started popping. I removed the alternator and ammeter from the loop and all was fine. I took the alternator to O'Reilly and it tested bad. Picked up a new Wilson, but now I'm stuck. I am unsure how the wires should connect to the alternator. I connected the BAT to the ammeter, T1 to diode and accessory side of switch, and T2 to Positive side of Starter. Luckily my ammeter was already fried because I tested the BAT voltage off the alternator and it's reading 74 volts. The model I have is supposed to have an internal voltage regulator, but either it's not working, or my possible mis-wiring is causing a major issue. Any suggestions?
