Browsing through the site this morning over a cup of coffee, got me wondering why there are 3 seperate sections referring to skidsteers. Why not lump the 3 sections, skidsteers, general repairs, and general questions into one dedicated forum? It seems the majority of topics funnel into the skidsteer section anyway. Plus it just seems easier for users to access one forum that would cover all aspects in general. After all, this site isnt like alot of forums on the internet where the moderators are constantly chewing out posters for posting in the wrong area. Repairs are obviously the #1 topic on this site, yet most repair threads are posted in the skidsteer section. Mainly, because posters want to post their threads into the section they feel get the most exposure. I can see keeping the track machines in a separate section, since they are a different beast. But for maximum exposure of threads and ease of use, a single forum could handle the daily volume of posts. Just my thoughts, great forum, thanks to all who frequent this site and help out on a regular basis.

The separate sections are a carry over from the days when this forum was called The Bobcat Forum and that's all the sections there were. There were no other brand areas.
I move posts all the time without complaining about. It seems like members learn very quickly to post in the correct area after getting the email that their post was moved.
