The bucket won't curl unless the boom is lifted. I can dump, somewhat, if I only press the pedal part way, and it only moves slowly. Has anyone had this issue before? Any thoughts? I removed the valve (what a pain) and clean it out. It wasn't bad at all. First post here, and first skid steer ever. Thanks.

Update: a helpful feller on heavy equipment forum had the same exact issue with his l785, the bucket would not curl unless you were lifting the boom. His resolution was to replace the valve. Upon doing some troubleshooting, I have concluded that the valve is he only thing that could be causing the problem, or at least I'm willing to make a $425 bet that I'm right. I hope I am because I'm not a betting man and hate to loose money. I'll keep y'all posted.

Update, I have replaced the valve and rebuild the cylinders, the problem persists. The same exact symptoms, to the tee. I decided to throw in the towel and just use the machine as is. The only issue was that I had a small leak from the fitting leading to the auxilary's. I couldn't get it to quit leaking, I didn't have an o ring to replace the leaking one and I didn't need the auxilary hydraulics to work. I decided to remove the line and fitting all together, and replace the fitting with a plug that came on the new valve. PROBLEM SOLVED! The boom and bucket work as they should. I don't know how the auxilary connections had any way of making the bucket no curl, but that's what it took. Does anyone know why there is a quick connect from the valve to the auxilary? I would just use another hard line if I designed it.

I was going to suggest looking at the aux circuit sticking. When they stick, the oil goes there instead of the lift/tilt, it causes all sorts of weird issues.
Glad it's fixed.
