ok i will try my best to desrcibe my issue. i bought a used 99 bobcat knowing it needed a little work, drive chains some wiring issues and the lock unlock to opperate buttom was stuck. got all of those taken care of very easily now after using the cat for a few weeks now my bucket/arm got stuck or locked up while pressing the foot pettles it would load up and drop my rpms but nothing would move(it would drive). backed it up to garage changed filters and checked fluid levels still nothing. Now i played around with peddles a little and they started working again, now 2 days ago it did it again and i can not get them to move at all the bucket while move a inch or two and i can see the lines move as there getting some pressure but nothing more then that. So i am pretty sure the control valve needs rebuilt i would like some input as to what else it may be. thanks matthew

Just one about ever 5 seconds
1 flash means the wiring circuit to the solenoid valve is open. This could be a bad connection, broken wire or the solenoid coil has failed in way that didn't cause a short(it's a different number of flashes for a short).

How do I know what solenoid would it be the main on the back of the unite?

Doesn't look like a Bobcat serial number. Here are the serial number ranges for a 753.

Also what does "boss" mean when it's displayed on the display screen across the bottom?
BOSS stands for Bobcat Operating Sensing System. It monitors all the machine stats and will shut it down if there's a major malfunction.

Ya that plate is no longer there they repainted the machine and never put it back is it true they can be found on the front just above the drain hole for the chain drive?

The number is supposed to be stamped on the chaincase but finding it can be hard. The only one I've seen was pin punched and very faint. Seems like they marked it and then painted.
There are horror stories around about law enforcement confiscating machines with out serial number tags.

Since you asked about BOSS I can almost assume that the BICS lock valve is on a block that is bolted to the top of the control valve. Newer machines have it built into the control valve.
On getting a new serial number plate, be aware that they will run the machine thru the stolen machine database first before issuing a new plate. You should never buy any equipment that doesn't have a clearly visible serial number.

Yes your correct it's bolted to the side. Ya I know after I bought it I thought about it first one I've ever owned I bought it from an auction and didn't think about that till I got it home.
