Hey guys was wondering if yall could help me out. I have a s205 skid steer that has no power to the right tires if you try to go forward. If you go in reverse power seems to be about 90% and you have full functions. there was a little bit of shit in the case drain filler but nopt enough for me to think that its a problem. any advice?

May just be a broken spring for the shuttle valve in the right side motor. You can go to the online parts look up and see a parts breakdown of the motor.

I'd need first seven digits of the machine serial number plus if it's a single or 2 speed machine to look it up and post the diagram.
I was thinking shuttle valve because when you push the sticks forward you get about 1/2 a turn of the tires before it just falls on its face. serial# A3LJ11381 and it is a 2 speed machine. The problem doesn't change if you are in high or low speed.

You may be able to check the shuttle valve without removing the motor. Item 32 on the diagram.

shuttle valve was good... the interior of the motor was all worn to shit. this guys stuff is poorly maintained. looks like my guy is buying a motor. lol thanks for the help
Loader parts source may have a rebuild kit, cheaper than a whole new motor, just an option.

Ya I mentioned to him that I could rebuild it. His concern was that the machine isn't earning him money sitting in my shop. So it came down to a time issue not money.

That is a good point, some times it is cheaper to just buy a new one as down time can cost you more. At least he will have a spare.
