what type of hydraulic oil for my skid steer please

owatonna omc mustang 441 perkins diesel Hi guys , i have got the old girl going but the hydraulics are yuko blah! I think someone drained a deep fryer or something and used its waste. What should i replace it with you think ? Many thanks Maddy <3

Is it milky colored? If it is that is water and it should be all taken out. I don't think you could go to far wrong with either 10-30 motor oil or #46 Hyd oil but if you have a dealer around call them too..

Its not milky but they did use cooking oil in it. Is that dodgy? Will it wreck it ? Thanks lots :)

Did not help it most use 10-30 or 10-40 I use 15-40 in everything on mine but I live in Texas
Just realised, the hydraulic fluid has a bit of a milky green colour, do i need change out the tank you think ? How many litres would it hold ? Thanks, i think that water would explain a lot of the problems. Maddy

Will 20 litres do it ? I want to buy new before i drain old. Thanks lots. Maddy :)
