Hi, guys. I've recently started getting into post hole drilling with my Kanga Kid and I'm wondering if there's a better way to clear out the holes than using a clamshell shovel after augering? A lot of the soil here in Australia tends to be quite dry and fine, so it falls back into the hole very easily. The sales manager at one of my local attachment places mentioned something about adding a bucket of water to each post hole, to turn the soil into mud and make it stick to the auger. Is this a technique anyone else uses? I've tried to find a Youtube video of someone doing it but to no avail. I did see a video of a guy using a shop vac to do it but that would be impractical for me. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
