Hello from warm and humid Iowa. I have an M-700 I need just a little help with. Both of the lift rams are leaking oil and I want to replace seals. However parts place asked for serial number, The plate right under the seat is there and I can see the "M-700" but the rest of the plate is unreadable, Any one know where else it might be on the machine? antfarmer, Thanks, I tried that and all I can get is the M-700. I drilled the plate out and took the over spray pint off, Now I can see B-1932-116M, that is all real faint. Does that sound like a valid number? Dwight Iowa

Antfarmer, Thanks for the help. I've been looking all over the thing and can not pick up on any stamped numbers any where else. I'll see if I can find some help at a hydo shop next week. Dwight, Eastern Iowa

The B1932 does sound like a valid s/n for this model (at least a couple years newer than mine), but it shouldn't be necessary. There were 4 machines in this class that all took the same lift cylinders and the Bobcat part number for the repair kit is 6504959. If the counter people still used books instead of letting computers lead them by the nose they would have seen that right away. A good hydraulic shop can probably cross reference that as well.

Flyerdan, Thanks for you help. I'm going to call the little parts store tomorrow in the little town I live close to and see what they can do for me, They still use books for the older stuff. I have an old David Brown 885 tractor and they have been good help with that too. Dwight Eastern Iowa
