My dad passed in October and he had a 2007 s150. it is a rural area and some mice got into it. they ate some wires. a green brown and yellow that I cant seem to find where the go. they come through the steering control on the left side from the right where all the wiring is located. the unit it will not stay running. it starts for a second then shuts down. very frustrated. if someone can look at their unit and give me an idea where they may go. Thank you in advance!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your father
You say the mice ate the wires, were they going into the steering lever? or were they just in that area.
Are you getting any codes on the dash? press and hold the lights button and not any codes that pop up

Thank you for your condolences! The mice have eaten numerous wires. I have found some that I spliced together. the green brown and yellow I have not figured out where the go. I have some codes that come up.... code 17-07 code 12-22 code 13-07 The first problem we had is that it wouldn't lift the bucket. My dad called me to go help him with it then we couldn't get it to run. it fires then dies right away. so that makes me think that it is a wiring problem. He couldn't get the bucket to move so he thought he was forgetting to push a button or something. then he moved it and hasn't been moved since. Thank you so much for your help! Anthony

I can look at the wiring diagrams but I need most of the machine serial number(all but the last 2 digits). Also Bobcat uses a lot of the same color wires but if you look close at the wires they should have wire numbers printed on them. Those numbers would help.

I'm with the machine this weekend. I'm looking at it and the wired that are cut have no numbers. I just realized that these wires hi to the auxiliary controls on the steering controls. I don't know if that will keep the unit from running. Maybe one of the codes will be what is causing the shout down. Like u stated before it will stay for s second then shoot down. If you have anything else I could look for I'm nf nest the unit till Sunday

Here are the results for your codes:

17-07 Hydraulic Lock Solenoid Open Circuit
12-22 Front Auxiliary Thumb Paddle Switch Out Of Range Low
13-07 Fuel Shutoff Hold Solenoid Open Circuit
Sounds to me like you are not getting power to your hold solenoid, and the loader will run until the "pull" solenoid timer runs out.
I think that the mice may have been busy in more than one spot.
Hopefully OM will be able to find you a wiring schematic now that we have your S/N. Make sure your user profile has an e-mail address so that he can send it to you.
