1998 lx665 fuel pump won't run

When fuel pump is hooked straight up to a battery it's runs and pumps fuel but when hooked back up to the machine it will not run. Eic board is good. The machine won't start at all. Fuel pump will not run. Traced all the wires and all seem to be good. Just can't figure out what is going on. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You mean the wire to the pump does not have 12v when you turn the key on? You have checked all the fuses in the engine room and the cab overhead? Have you tried it in service mode? Should not make a difference though.

If you tested it off the machine make sure you have a good ground when you reinstalled it.
