I was useing the 1830 and the coupling broke between the motor and the pumps. I have it a part and I will have to replace it,The thing is finding the one like what is on there now.I dont want to have to fab one up.the motor is 4 cylinder ford, and the coupler is about the diameter of the fly wheel and the center there is a slinded hub that the pump slides into. it has had motor changes over the years ,and I am not sure what kind it is. I hope someone can lead me in the right direction. Thanks for any help

We'll need some pictures to help you. Those originaly had the continental engine and they used a chain coupler. Sounds like someone already did fab work.

Unless, You are actually looking at the chain coupler cover. It looks kinda big. It bolts together and splits in half. Under the cover is a chain coupler. The chain is available from the dealer. There around $40.

Hotrod thanks for the help but it is not a chain coupler.I dont know how to upload pics.I will try to discribe what it looks like.the fly wheel is 10 inchs in diameter the coupler that I have is a flat plate that is also 10 inchs in diameter, that is bolted to the face of the flywheel,in the center of the plate is a spinled hub that is riveted to the plate, and the pump shaft slides into it.

Have you check Surpluscenter.com and see if they have a spline adapter that fits the pump, maybe use that to fix it?
