I just went through this on mine. The alternator wires are going bad one by one. So far the bad wires have all been at the end of the harness near the alternator. To check them grab the entire harness with one hand and pull the end with the other. If the copper inside has broken the coating will stretch and pull apart. Then simply clean up the ends and add a waterproof splice.Sounds like a bad battery have you had it load tested?
