Alternator is good but indicator light stays on and will not charge battery. Charge battry over night will run but you have to jump it off to crank it. where do I start looking for problem.

I just went through this on mine. The alternator wires are going bad one by one. So far the bad wires have all been at the end of the harness near the alternator. To check them grab the entire harness with one hand and pull the end with the other. If the copper inside has broken the coating will stretch and pull apart. Then simply clean up the ends and add a waterproof splice.
