Hello,I have a 542b and was wanting to work around it in the up position, but I was worried about the hydralics dropping. I have seen parts laid over the extended cylinder arms ,so the cylinder stays out. Has anyone got pictures of parts installed or how to make them .thanks for your help.

The lift arm stop was a optional part on the early machines. It was basically a lone "C" shaped piece of steel that was placed on the extended rod of one of the lift cylinders. This post shows what one would look like. http://www.skidsteerforum.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=54&frmView=ShowPost&PostID=74343

The part number for the 542 is 6563449 and is still available from Bobcat.
