t-180 foot controls

my t-180 foot controls quit functioning. the hand controls still work. I have my own shop and we called bobcat and they said the cylenoid valve was out at the foot controls. we asked if they would send us a cylenoid and they said we would have to bring it in and hook to a computer to achieve the fix. of course with our own shop I do not want to carry it to bobcat. can anyone shed any light to this situation. what are my options

I think there is a procedure to calibrate them, if that fails and you need a new one, the dealer needs to hook it up to a laptop to update the firmware.
