Model L185 - New Holland wont crank. Battery is good. Hear clicking sound by the starter area. Anyone else have this problem or any idea what could be the cause? Thank you!!

Try it several times quickly, sometimes a sticky relay or solenoid will engage if you do that. Battery is charged up ?

Thank you Jerry. Yes, thought the battery was the problem so bought a new one. Will give your suggestion a try and hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks again. I will post a follow up. Have a good day!

I have no idea about your machine but if mine did that I would suspect the start relay or the starter interlock relay in the engine room fuse panel. If they are good then check out grounds and the starter and its solenoid. Sorry cant really be of any help.

If you have no book Messicks .com diagrams may show the location of the relays also.
