I am looking at purchasing an 1845C. My big question is access for servicing and major repairs. I normally do all minor and major repairs myself. Do all years allow tilting the cab or are later models better? Or how do you access the underside for service, etc. My background is I have a MF 811B skid steer without aux hyd. and really need to upgrade so I am putting it on the sale block. I have owned this baby for 29 years. (second owner) but bad news for hose change outs/ service access. Since I keep everything for ever as you can see I will try to find a lower hour unit and have had my eye on 1845c's for years. Any advise on purchasing Cases will be appreciated. If anybody needs info or background on MF 811, Let me know. Massey Fergusen sold these for a few years and then sold the rights so there is no support or readily available parts.

On the 1845c and 1840 then cab actually rolls forward which requires a little more than the later models that just tip. You have to undo the loader vale linkage, aux. vale linkage, throttle, forward reverse linkage, unplug the harness and then 4 bolts, and the bake linkage, I think that's about it.
