Hi I'm new to this forum and would greatly appreciate any feedback from the members here.I bought a older 5625 this past summer and a problem with the hydraulics has started. The pressure relief valve by the main control valve (tilt, lift valves started relieving pressure back to the tank one day.The next day it was ok again but that same week it started relieving again and it hasn't changed since. It will lift very slowly, won't go back down and the tilt doesn't do anything.Local mechanics aren't helping much, they want me to bring it to their shop.Big surprise! Can anyone help with this? Thx Randy

Is the aux hydro sticking on
It turns out your idea was right. The cable from the foot pedal to the aux. hydraulics was seized and just holding the valve open a bit.I disconnected the clevis and worked the valve lever to center it and started her up and all is good! Thankyou for the response,Up till today I was really frustrated with it Any suggestions for "tuning up" a skid that's older and was sitting for a couple years? Thx Randy

Ya it's great when it's not a big fix problem. The next is all the fluids, filters and some grease then.Checked into the price for the cable,$58.00.Not to crazy but I will need it to run my snowblower off the aux. hydraulics.Thx again antfarmer2 for your help.Keep checking the forum I know I will have other questions. Another question.I had the skid out today ,hydraulics were working fine. Then I had to stop the machine for a couple mins to get unstuck and when I started back up the tilt function mostly the up direction was slower, everything else seemed the same.So I checked the hydraulic level and the site tube is full, when I started out it was in the safe operating level. What could cause this? Thx Randy

If you just changed the hydro fluid it could be working the air out or it could be going in the chain case by the drive motor seals if it has that set up if so pull the fill leval plug and see if it comes out be ready to plug it back up or catch what is comming out

Well I found out what the issues are with the tilt speed. The linkage from the T-handle control has a fair amount of play with it and if I hold it fairly plum, the tilt speed is normal. If I let the handle rest on it's own it will lean back toward you and it reduces the control rod travel and it affects the tilt speed.A adjustment and maybe some needle bearings could be required is what the local dealer mechanic told me.The hydraulic oil issue is normal. When the oil heats up it expands and can fill the whole site glass when its hot. This info also came from the mechanic.I'm sure I'm going to run into other things for the next while but I hope I'm getting through the "TLC" you have to give a older machine like this. Thx Randy
